Coy Barefoot Live, WNRN, Charlottesville, VA, 1998.
Interview with Alex McGee and Laird Shaub
Talk of the Nation, NPR, 3-4 p.m. EST March 26, 1998.
The Fellowship for Intentional Community (FIC) appeared on National Public
Radio's "Talk of the Nation" with Ray Suarez 3-4 p.m. EST March 26, 1998.
FIC Secretary Laird Schaub was featured guest on this widely syndicated
program, and discussed the amazing depth and breadth of intentional communities
today. The topic caught the producer's eye while surfing the FIC's Web
site at www.ic.org, and NPR explored what's behind the rising interest
in community living. Using their popular call-in format, Schaub fielded
calls from all over the country, explaining what community is, where it
is, and how to get more of it in your life--whether you live in a self-identified
community or not.
