Album: Willy Wonka & Tofu Factory
Willy Wonka and the Tofu Factory: in March 2004 as part of our Equinox celebrations, Twin Oakers performed our own theatrical version of Roald Dahl's classic book. We tweaked the script, turning chocolate into soyfoods and threw in a union organizer and a vegan straight-edge character for good measure. In the final scene, the Oompah Loompahs, along with Charlie, end up turning the factory into a worker-owned cooperative. Viva la revolucion!

Twin Oakers performed Cabaret in mid March, for 3 nights. In this case, the presentation was not altered to Twin Oaks content as was for example Willy Wonka and the Tofu Factory.
