FB[Updated February 2020] Pam, our Garden Manager for 20 years still works in our 3.5 acre organic garden but has retired as manager. That gave her more time to work on a second book, The Year-Round Hoophouse, which was published in October 2018.

The focus of her first book is educating people about how to grow food for a large number of people, using biological methods, and only a few acres of land, which is exactly what Pam as part of our intrepid Garden Crew continues to do each year for the approximately 100 people who live here. The book draws on the work Pam has done writing articles for Growing for Market, a national magazine about market gardening.

To date [February 2020] over 12.600 print copies have been sold (and over 1400 in digital format.)
